Where I’ve Been: Jobs, London & Chronic Fatigue

updates where i've been.jpg

So, it’s been a good ol’ month or so since I last posted. I don’t really have a reason, except that this month has been crazy. The actual definition of crazy. I’m sorry! I figured I should explain, so here’s the low-down of what’s been going on in my life.

Firstly, I managed to snag myself a job interview! Actually, I’ve been offered four this past month, but the last three were after I’d already taken the first job… so I’m trying not to dwell on that. I had the prep, the interview, and have been having random training days – which I have to travel 2 hours for. So, busy busy.

That also means that I’ve left my other job! So I did my last few shifts and now I’m free! My relationship with that place wasn’t the best, so I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve also had trips to London, a State Champs gig with my friend, and lots of nights out. I’m spending this weekend in London with my boyfriend and we’re going to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – so not much time to read!

And, one last thing… I have mentioned it before, but I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/M.E and chronic migraines. I’m not going back to college next week, or this year. My CFS has been getting progressively worse the last few months, and even simple tasks like taking a shower have led me to rest in bed for hours afterwards. My sleep has been bad and I need to see my migraine specialist. And I had laryngitis last week. Because of this (and being busy), I’ve barely read a thing all month. But I’ll get there, slowly. One thing I love about the blogging community is everyone is just as welcoming when I come back!

But more importantly, I just set up a blog schedule on Google Docs, so I should be a lot more organised now! I’ll also be scheduling more posts ahead of time, to save myself some effort.

If you have any suggestions for things I should do on here/posts I should make, please let me know! It feels good to be posting on here again. 🙂

    1. Aww thank you Lauren!
They’re great live! I saw them at a festival a few years back and it was so messy, I got hurt haha. But this was a tiny intimate gig and everything was really good 🙂
Thank you lovely, I hope you’re good too! xxx

  1. If you have the time while you’re in London or for next time is to check out some charity shops in tooting! I wrote a review on one of them, Octavia Foundation where you are almost always going to find a gem. Check it out at https://tootinghustle.wordpress.com/ and let me know what you think.

I also have some comedy/rant posts – Dont stop now, and PDA (Please dont Administer) if you need a pick me up! I also suffer from chronic migraines, and I find that a little laugh makes the whole better – That and tonnes of sleep and medication 🙂 x
